It’s the time of year to get your outdoor space cleaned up and ready for summer. Here is a checklist to get you started on your Spring clean-up!

Flower Beds

  • prune out dead and damaged branches from shrubbery
  • cut back perennials and divide as needed
  • pull annuals that didn’t get pulled in the Fall
  • rake leaves and dead foliage out of flower beds
  • pull weeds
  • for crowded spots divide and remove or transplant to bare spots as needed
  • edge flowerbeds

Lawn 

  • rake lawn to remove sand and debris leftover from the winter
  • repair damaged areas
  • fertilize

Yard

  • sweep or pressure wash walkways and driveways as needed
  • touch-up paint on decks, gazebos, or fences
  • wipe down patio furniture
  • clean eavestroughs
