Wednesday Aug 2 - Saturday Aug 5: Take in the 'Old Wives Tales' at the Mady Centre. You will laugh and cry at this witty show.

Friday Aug 4 - Monday Aug 7: Check out the Georgian Bay Steam Show. Get a chance to learn more about steam engines and watch equipment demonstrations using antique farm equipment. 

Saturday Aug 5 - Sunday Aug 6: Head to the Essa Agriplex for the National Draft Horse Exhibition showcasing Ontario's three draft horse breeds. 

Saturday Aug 5 - Monday Aug 7: It's Kempenfest this weekend at the Barrie waterfront. There will be arts & crafts, activities for the kids, live music, a midway and more!

Sunday Aug 6: Check out Summer Sundays at Simcoe County Museum. This Sunday will be 'Jam Session' using seasonal berries to make homemade jam. 

Sunday Aug 6: Participate in the Utopia Gristmill Fun Run. Walk, bike or run in the morning followed by a BBQ lunch. 

Monday Aug 7: Celebrate Simcoe Day at the Simcoe County Museum with the County Warden and Councillors. This free event includes a BBQ and admission to the museum. There will also be picnic-themed activities.
